The assembly quality is very good, as well as the body plastic. Screws are covered with semi-transparent gum pads, so that the Dingoo is laying good on surfaces.
The front panel is scratch-resistand. All sockets sre built well. Built-in speakers are truly stereo.

The battery is about 1700MAh of capacity so that you can play or watch video about 7-8 hours.
It looks like the device is not charged then attached to a PC via USB cable.

The console is very compact, just 1/3rd width more than a credit card. With its weight (110 gm) it's easy to put it in a shirt pocket.

Sizes: Dingoo A-320, a credit card, an USB flash:

When attached to a PC, it's recognized as an usual flash memory. It works on Mac, Ubuntu, and Windows PCs as well. Transfer rate is about 4 MBps.

Emulators

This console officially supports the following games:
  1. Capcom Play System
  2. Capcom Play System II
  3. Neo Geo MVS
  4. Game Boy Advance
  5. Nintendo Entertainment System (Dendy)
  6. Super Nintendo Entertainment System
  7. Sega Mega Drive

You also may download and install a Game Boy Color emulator.

Games for NES & GBA are best emulated on this console. There is a built-in ability to save up to 10 game states. Also you can adjust volume, set Frameskip parameter and set up keys.
Nintendo Entertainment System («Dendy»)
This is probably the best emulation on the device. All the games run at 100% speed and without any problems. Digital noises also supported (such as groans and shots) in such games as Jurassic Park.

Game Boy Advance

The GBA emulation is cool as NES emulation. Animation is very smooth. Run Super Mario Advance, as well as last GBA games: Sonic Battle, Final Fantasy Tactics Advance, Fire Emblem etc.
image
All the games can be run in windowed mode or scaled to the full screen.
image

Super Nintendo

So, the Super Nintendo emulator on the console is really not as well as NES. Sometimes you have to change Frameskip to get the games work more slowly or faster. I could not run games with "Super FX" chip support.
image

Sega Mega Drive

This is the worst emulator on the console. There's some screen artifacts like interlacing, etc.
Digital sound is good, but music sometimes run faster or slower, i dunno why.

image

Neo Geo MVS

This emulates a popular japanese game slot. You even have to put in a virtual "coin" hehehe. The emulation quality is rather good, but there's some games incompatible.

Last Blade 2:

Metal Slug 3:

Capcom Play System I, II

Um well, i actually could not find the games for this emulator, sorry :)

3D & 2D games

The Dingoo A-320 has a custom game development SDK that can be downloaded somewhere dunno where :). There's a couple of games that show the SDK features.
image
The most impressive game is 3D-quest "7 Days. Salvation". It looks like Silent Hill, really good:
image

Audio player

The playes supports MP3, WMA, APE, FLAC, WAV. It also can play in background (except emulators, videoplayer and radio).
image

The player does not display music tags when playing. However, you can sort playlists by albums, artists etc. You can choose between 7 equalizer presets and also set up one custom preset. There's also options for enhanced 3D sound, bass amplifying, and high freqs compensation.

The overall sound quality is good only if you use good earphones or speakers. There's no scratches or noises.

Video Player

Supported codecs: RMVB, RM, AVI, WMV, FLV, MPEG, DAT, MP4, ASF. Different versions of DivX & Xvid run ok. Even older DivX 3 supported :) It also can play 700M DVD rips :D.
image

You should be warned that there's no subs supported!
.

Also, those who has iPod or iPhones - the videos from these devices are not supported :(

If you push X the player GUI appears:

Popular FLV also supported:

FM-radio

The FM-radio can store up to 40 channels, autoscan feature supported. You can record from the FM. You can choose FM-banding (China, Europe, USA, Japan) , and the amplifier strength. The FM-radio can play in background, as well as Audio player.
image
There's some exciting feature that you can listen to the FM without earphones.
Yeah yeah :)

Sound recorder

The sound recorder can record MP3 or WAV files. The microphone is not very sensitive so you should talk right into the microphone hole.
image

Picture viewer

The viewer can display JPG, BMP, GIF, PNG files. You can zoom, rotate your pics. GIF-animation also supported. You also can set any pic as your wallpaper.

image

image

There's also supported SWF up to version 7.

Book reader

Well, this reader supports only English and Chinese. Fuck :)
image

image

If you learn Chinese, there's also a cute Chinese woman's voice that can read aloud (English also supported)
